Two mem arrested for possessing stimulant tablets

Two men were arrested in connection with posessing stimulant tablets in Mongsat township in eastern Shan state of Myanmar yesterday.

           

A combined team made up of Anti-Drug squad policemen and local authorities stopped two men riding a motorbike from hopan village to Maenin village in the township on suspecion of carrying illegal drugs. On searching them, the police seized a total of 160 stimulant tablets from the motocyclist named Aik Pee, 28.

           

The police pressed drug charges against Aik Pee, 28 and Law Oo, 27, both from Mongsat township, according to Mongsat Police station.—Myint Maung (IPRD)
