Two men have died and two others were injured in a head-on collision between a car and a motorbike in Monywa Township, Sagaing Region, the Ministry of Home Affairs reported.
The accident took place between mileposts 89/3 and 89/4 on the Monywa-YeU Road at about 10:40 p.m. on 14 October when a car driven by a man named Thawdar Aung, 24 years old collided with a motorcycle coming from an opposite direction. Then over-speeding car hit another motorbike with two people on board.
Two cyclists were pronounced dead on the scene and two others were hurt in the accident. The injured people were sent to a nearby hospital and one of them was in critical condition. An investigation into the case is ongoing by the local police
