Two community health centers opened in Thuwunnawadi Tsp

Thuwunnawadi 2 April

In a bid to prevent and control the spread of Covid-19, officials have drawn up a list of migrant workers who recently returned from foreign countries and opened two 14-day quarantine centers to place them under quarantine in the town of Thuwunnawadi in Thaton township, Mon state starting from March 22.

150 returnees in Tadaoo, Mogaung, Chaug Saunk and Donwun village-tracts and Theinseik ward have been placed under quarantine at a quarantine center opened in Theinseik village school. 70 returnees in Naungbo, Winpa village-tracts and Kyaikkaw ward are now in quarantine at Kyaikkaw Basic Eduation High School. All returnees kept under quarantine are asked to obey regulations issued local authoritative bodies.

Foods, drinks and necessary assistance are provided to them by local philanthropic groups and Well-wishers. There are 15 quarantine centers in Thaton township, with nearly 800 people under quarantine. They all are in good condition thanks to the efforts by health staff.—Khun Winpa
