Three-storey new market to be built in Myawady Township

A stake-driving ceremony for construction of a modern new market took place at the construction site in Thingan Nyinnaung Village, Myawady Township in Kayin State yesterday morning.

On the occasion, Myawady District Deputy Commissioner U Tezar Aung, the commander of district police force Police Lt-Col Thet Lin Oo, an official from the Department of Immigration and Population, Township Administrator U Phyo Zaw Ko Ko, Chairman of the township development committee U Than Shwe and concerned officials drove the stake at designated places in the construction site and looked into the site chosen for construction of the new market.  

The three-storey new market will consist of 546 rooms, equip with CCTVs and fire extinguishers and will be built within 14 months, said U Aung Sithu, Managing Director of MGI Company.—Mahn Than Shwe Myint (IPRD)
