Extension of Thanlyin-Thilawa four-lane road has been nearly completed and it will be launched soon.
The extension project is being undertaken with loans disbursed by Japanese International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
The four-lane road is from Yangon-Thanlyin Bridge-1 in Myohaung Ward in Thanlyin to Maritime University in Thilawa Industrial Zone.
Under the supervision of Main Contractor Tekken Corporation and Consultant Nippon Koei, the tarred road is being constructed by Max Myanmar Construction Company.
