The district Department of Disaster Management provided cash aid to a woman who was struck by lightning in Kyaungkon Village in Minbu Township, Magway Region yesterday.
As part of efforts to control the spread of COVID-19, personnel from the township Fire Services Department sprayed disinfectants in schools, classrooms and staff quarters in the town of Pyin Oo Lwin, Mandalay Region this morning.
Quarantine centers have been set up in Chinshwehaw Town to keep people returning from China in order to contain the spread of coronavirus. 209 people were allowed to go home after being placed in 21-day quarantine on 9 June.
A high school that was converted into a quarantine center for the people coming back home in Mogaung Township, Kachin State has been returned to the Ministry of Education.
