Strong winds hit Taninthayi Township at 5 pm on 4 April and some buildings in the township were destroyed.
Roofs of two monasteries in Thameehal Anauk village and Mamathaung Anauk village and some house roofs were flipped over. In addition, two houses in Mamathaung Anauk village were also destroyed. Therefore, people from these houses were removed to their relatives and no casualties were reported in the incident, according to the Township General Administration Department.
