Slight earthquake jolts Yedashe Township

No immediate reports of damages or casualties were available following a slight earthquake which was recorded at 8:25 a.m. today, the Department of Meteorology and Hydrology announced. 

 

An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.2 on the Richter Scale, with its epicenter inside Myanmar hit about 8 miles southeast of Yedashe Township, Bago Region, at a latitude 19.07°N, and longitude 96.43°E, with depth 12 kilometers and about nine miles north of the Toungoo seismological observatory, the DMH said.—DMH
