Seven coronavirus positive patients have been discharged from the hospital and eight more people tested positive for Covid-19 in Gyobingauk Township, Bago Region during the period from 16 to 20 October, according to a health official.
All coronavirus patients returned from Yangon Region recently. They all were placed under observation at respective quarantine centers and their family members who had close contact with the virus patients were quarantined after being taken swab from them, according to U Thiha Zaw, Township Administrator.
The coronavirus positive patients are currently receiving medical treatment at a public hospital in Gyobingauk and they all are doing well, said Dr Soe Myint Aung, Township Medical Superintendent.
