Two extended facilities are being built in the compound of a high school in Putao Township, Kachin State, U Sai Khun, Headmaster of the school said.
The school has 2,450 students and needs new structures so that to receive more students. So two-storey school structures are under construction and the project is expected to finalize within 200 days, he added. The two school facilities are being built with more than Ks. 400 million allotted in the financial; year 2019-2020 by two private construction companies.
Construction of school buildings started on March 8 and the project has been 25 percent finished. The Department of Education under the Ministry of Education gave the greenlight to construct 17 schools and staff housings in the township in current fiscal year.—Hsan Nyunt (Putao)
