Over than 600 hoping to buy apartments in Myayee Nanda Housing

More than 600 people have obtained application forms to purchase more than 500 apartments at the Myayee Nanda affordable housing project, being carried out by the Mandalay City Development Committee (MCDC) in Myayee Nanda Ward in Chanmyathasi Township, Mandalay, according to MCDC.


The Myayee Nanda apartments are being built for retired government servants, private companies’ staff and the general public.


A total of 6,423 application forms have already been distributed, including 3,824 forms to civil staff still in service, 929 to retired staff, 470 to private companies’ staff and 1,200 to members of the public who are serving or living in six townships in Mandalay region.


From 27 January to 7 February, apartment application forms were sold for K 1000 to those who wish to buy apartments. The completed application forms are to be submitted from 17 to 28 February.


The 574 apartments are being built in 21 six-story buildings under the Myayee Nanda affordable housing project. Each apartment measures 661 square feet in area. The ground floor apartment is being sold for K 288.4 lakh, first floor for K 257.5 lakh, second floor for K 231.75 lakh and third floor for K 211.15 lakh, fourth floor for K 195.7 lakh and the fifth floor for K 180.25 lakh.
