One dead, three injured after car crashes into concrete median strip on Ygn-Mdy Expressway

One man succumbed to injuries in a traffic accident on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway and three others were slightly hurt, according to the Ministry of Home Affairs.
    

The accident occurred between mileposts 186 and 186/1 on the Yangon-Mandalay Expressway in Dekkhinathiri Township in Nay Pyi Taw Council Area at about 6:20 p.m. on June 27. A probox car driven by an unidentified man hit into a concrete median strip after one of the car’s tires got a puncture as the driver lost control of the car. Local firefighters rushed to the scene to carry out the rescue operation hurriedly.
    

One of the four men was pronounced dead and three others sustained minor injuries in the incident. The injured people were sent to a 1000-bedded hospital in Nay Pyi Taw and action has been taken against the driver who is still at large by the police.
