Pauk, 16 September
One person was killed and seven others injured a Hi-jet car plummeted into a creek in Pauk Township, Magway Region.
The fatal accident occurred between milepost 30/7 and 31 on the Pauk-Pakkoku Road in Pauk Towship at about 6:30 p.m. on September 11. The car with seven people aboard crashed into a small bridge and plunged into a creek after one of its back wheel got puncture. A woman died on the spot and seven others sustained minor injuries in the incident.
Action has been taken against the driver identified as Soe Myint Tun, 33, fom Kyungyi Village over reckless driving by the local police.
