A stake-driving ceremony for construction of a new building for the Department of Public Health was held in the compound of a public hospital in Okpho Township, Bago Region this morning.
Bago Region Minister for Social Affairs Daw Nyunt Nyunt Htay, township level departmental officials, and residents attended the event. The regional minister and concerned officials drove the stakes at the designated places of the construction site.
The two-storey structure measuring 67 ft. in length and 37 ft. in width will be of reinforced concrete facility and will be built by a private construction company.—Aung Thu (Okpho)
