Dear esteemed citizens and ethnic national brothers and sisters,
I send these good wishes for your peace of mind and good health in this auspicious New Year 2021.
With unity between the Union government and citizens, we are proud to have successfully held the 2020 multi-party democratic General Elections in accordance with the COVID-19 prevention and control guidelines in order to maintain the momentum of working for nationwide peace and a Democratic Federal Union that all of us aspire to. The Union government has also taken short-term and long-term measures to remedy economic impacts caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, and I would like to request all citizens to cooperate in that process.
On this auspicious occasion of the New Year I send these good wishes to all citizens to be free from the pandemic. May they all be able to make their own contribution, “a grain of sand or a piece of brick”, for the emergence of a Democratic Federal Union with mutual tolerance and forgiveness!
