New school facility under construction in Bamouk Twsp nears completion

A new structure is being built in the compound of a basic high school in Bamouk Township, Sagaing Region and the project has reportedly been about 85 percent finished.

           

The new school facility is being built by a private construction company with 144.2 million kyats allocated by the Department of Basic Education under the Ministry of Education in the previous fiscal year. Construction of the school building began on March 15 last year and is currently about 85 percent completed.

           

The two-storey facility is 130 ft. in length, 30 ft. in width and 13 ft. in height and is designed to include eight classrooms.—Hlaing Bwar (Bamouk)
