New school building inaugurated in Kanthaywa BEHS (Branch)

A school building in Kanthaywa Basic Education High School (Branch) in Gangaw Township was opened yesterday.

 

Magway Region Chief Minister Dr. Aung Moe Nyo, Speaker of Regional Hluttaw U Tar, Regional Minister for Natural Resource, Environment and Electricity U Myint Zaw, Gangaw District Administrator U Kyaw Min Nyo cut the ceremonial ribbon and sprinkled the scented water on the stone inscription.

 

At the ceremony, Magway Region Chief Minister, Speaker of Regional Hluttaw and Region Minister for Natural Resource, Environment and Electricity gave remarks respectively. Next, a responsible person on behalf of well-wisher handed over proper documents relating to the new facility to Township Education Officer.

The Presiding Sayadaw of Vizzara Linkara Monastery donated the cost of the school building construction. The school facility is 60 ft in length, 30 ft in width and 14 ft in height.

 

Next, Magway Region Chief Minister also provided K 6.9 million to Head of Kanywa BEHS in the township to repair the school building. They then inspected the school building which is being constructed with K 15 million allocated by funds of regional government.
