New concrete road opens in Hlaingbwe Twsp.

A ceremony to put a concrete road, identified as Pyeasone Road into use was held at the entrance of the road in Htaingboke Village in Hlaingbwe Township, Kayin State on 21 January. 


At the event, Buddhist Monk from Ywa Oo Monastery, staff officer of the Township Department of Rural Development Daw Aye Mya Nadar Tun and officials from Paingkyone Township delivered speeches. Next, a local spoke words of thanks to officials. Afterwards, Buddhist Monk from Ywa Oo Monastery, staff officer of the Township DRD Daw Aye Mya Nadar Tun and officials cut a ceremonial ribbon to formally open the concrete road.


The road measuring 1300 ft. in length, twelve ft. in width and six inches in thickness was built by spending K 23.00 million provided by the Community-Based Project and World Bank. The road will benefit 874 rural people from Htainboke village in the township.
