Myeik’s fire victims get relief aid

Relief supplies were provided to fire victims from a house that was destroyed by the flame on the morning of 19 February.

The fire broke out at a house in Kalwin Village-tract in Myeik, Taninthayi Region on 19 February. Local authorities presented relief items and cash assistance contributed by the Department of Disaster Management under the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, and the Myanmar Red Cross Society to the fire victims.

The contributions were made by concerned officials from the government department on door-to-door basis this morning.—Khaing Htoo (IPRD)
