Kawthoung, 15 June
12 Myanmar seafarers from a ship docked at a jetty in the Andaman Sea near Kawthoung Township, Taninthayi Region entered downtown Kawthoung and were reportedly quarantined at a hotel.
They transferred duty with 12 other Myanmar seafarers who waited for them in Kawthoung in advance. The cargo ship arrived at an island near Kawthoung in the Andaman Sea yesterday evening after departing from Oman.
Myanmar seaferers get medical checked by a combined team and their samples were taken by medical staff for coronavirus test and would be sent to Yangon National Lab.
