Myanmar Football Federation president gives health insurance benefit for caregivers

The Myanmar Football Federation president U Zaw Zaw who is also the Chairperson of the Ayeyarwady Foundation and AYA SOMPO Insurance Company Limited donated Kyats 500 million fund for Health Insurance worth for caregivers in Myanmar, who are actively working relentlessly across Myanmar to combat world threatening Coronavirus COVID-19 disease, according to the statement with the Myanmar Football Federation.
 

The funding was realized after the discussion between Union Minister for Health and Sports Dr Myint Htwe and Chairperson of the Ayeyarwady Foundation and AYA SOMPO Insurance Company Limited and Myanmar Football Federation president U Zaw Zaw.
 

The Ayeyarwady Foundation owned by U Zaw Zaw has already provided services at the AYA Bank’s Training Centre for their accommodation, daily meals and transportation services for the doctors and nurses from Waibargi Hospital, who are currently facing the difficulties of commuting and lodgings.
 

The Health Insurance Benefit Fund will use for the front line healthcare providers who are willingly volunteering at the hospitals and various areas throughout Myanmar to feel safe for their health while caring for the COVID-19 patients, according to the Myanmar Football Federation. —Lynn Thit (Tgi)
