Monsoon agricultural loans disbursed in Pwintbyu Township

Myanma Agricultural Development Bank in Pwintbyu Township, Magway Region is disbursing monsoon agricultural loans starting from 10 June. 

On 16 September, 62 farmers in seven villages in Pwintbyu Township were disbursed K 35.5 million for 202 acres of monsoon paddy and 52 acres of other crops. The bank dispensed the agricultural loans to the farmers in line with the COVID-19 instructions. 

In Pwintbyu Township, local farmers in 51 village-tracts are being disbursed agricultural loans at a rate of K 150,000 per acre of paddy and K 100,000 per acre of other crop starting from 10 June. A total of K 695,250,000 of agricultural loans has been disbursed to 901 local farmers until 16 September and other remaining farmers will also be disbursed agri loans, according to a Township Bank Manager.
