MIU FC wins Myanmar Futsal League 2019-2020

Myanmar Imperial University Futsal Club won the Myanmar Futsal League 2019-2020 following a 4-4 draw to the Victoria University College Futsal Club in their final match played at National Indoor Stadium II in Yangon yesterday.


Due to the Myanmar Futsal League head to head decision, MIU FC secured the championship position, as the two teams met in a previous group match that ended 2-2.


After the final match, an awards ceremony was held.


The winning team, MIU FC, was awarded K 10 million and the championship trophy by Myanmar Football Federation president U Zaw Zaw, while the first runners up VUC FC received K 7.5 million.


The third placed team, GV FC, was awarded K 6 million and fourth place team On Doctor FC received K 4 million.


The fifth place team in the Myanmar Football Federation U-19 Team received K 2.5 million.


The most valuable player award went to De Carvaiho Junior of VUC FC, and he received K 300,000.


The best goalkeeper award was earned by Nyi Nyi Thant from VUC FC and he also received K 300,000.


The fair play award went to the Myanmar Football Federation U-19 Team, and officials awarded K 500,000 to the team.—Lynn Thit (Tgi)
