Mass Immunization campaign conducted in Wawlaymyaing

Wawlaymyaing, 19 July

 

Staff from Department of Health conducted a mass immunization campaign at the nursery school in ward-1 in the town of Wawlaymyaing, Myawaddy District, Kayin State yesterday morning.

 

Staff led by Daw Nan Tin Tin Wai from DoH injected and dosed children below five years old with vaccination against various diseases such as polio, lockjaw, measles and rubella.

 

The immunization campaign is the second of its kind in the town. Department of Health will also carry out the third vaccination campaign in the town in August.

 

Staff from DoH conducted immunization campaign in accordance with the rules released by Ministry of Health and Sports amid the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic.—Naing Myo Thein, IPRD
