Knowledge sharing projects on environmental conservation and natural disaster prevention introduced in Dawei Tsp

A ceremony to introduce knowledge sharing projects on environmental conservation and natural disaster prevention was held at Nawarat hall in No-2 Basic Education High School in the town of Dawei, Dawei township, Taninthayi region this morning.

 

The ceremony was opened with a speech by deputy director U Win Naung from Taninthayi Region Education Director’s Office.

 

Then, project coordinator Naw May Thet Khin said that the event was organized to strengthen the efficiency and the opinions of children, to improve children’s knowledge about environmental conservation for a safe and sustainable environment. She also said that workshops and trainings will also be held in Thayat Chaung and Yephyu townships in the region to increase awareness among children on environmental conservation.

 

After project officer Salai Htaung Hlaing Lon reported on works done, officials responded quarries raised by teachers present at the event.—Dawei District (IPRD)
