Four dead, 13 injured after Hilux overturns in Mongnaung

Four women were allegedly killed after a Hilux overturned in Mongnaung Township, Shan State, the Ministry of Home Affairs said.
    

The fatal accident occurred between mileposts 42/4 and 42/5 on the Mongnaung-Kyaythee Road near Mongnan Village in Mongnaung Towship at about 4 p.m. on 15 February. A Hilux driven by a man named Aik Man, 18, crashed into the cliff and overturned after the driver lost control of the car.Four women were pronounced dead on the spot and 13 others sustained minor injuries in the incident.
    

The injured people were sent to a public hospital and the driver is being questioned over reckless driving by the local police.—MOHA
