Taninthayi Region Minister for Agriculture, Livestock Breeding and Irrigation U Myint San provided cash assistance and facial masks to the flood victims in Lauglone Township on 20 September.
Accompanied by Regional Lawmakers U Bo Htwe and Daw Khin Sandi, and officials from the Department of Disaster Management and General Administration Department, the regional minister visited Sakhanthit village and met with the flood victims.
They supplied Ks 474,600 and facial masks to 226 flood victims from 76 families and gave words of encouragement to them.
