Five people test positive for coronavirus in Paung Twsp

The people who returned from some areas where COVID-19 restrictions are in place are requested to inform of their arrivals as the number of coronavirus-positive patients reached five in Paung Township, Mon State, said U Zaw Moe Aung, Township Administrator.
    

“Four people who returned from Yangon and a child with tuberculosis from Htanpin Chaungyi Village tested positive for the coronavirus when they underwent medical check at a fever clinic. There are five confirmed coronavirus cases in Paung Township so far. The people who come back from Yangon Region and Rakhine State are to notify concerned officials their arrivals,” he added.
    

The virus infected patients were sent to Mawlamyine and 22 people who had close contact with the positive patients were placed under observation at quarantine center.
