Pantanaw, 17 February
A fire broke out in Phayagyidaung village in Pantanaw Township, Ayeyawady Region yesterday afternoon and it engulfed seven houses.
The fire started from the ember at about 1 pm and it was extinguished by members of Township Fire Services Department and local residents. The fire was put out at about 1:30 pm, according to the Township Fire Services Department.
The fire left 24 people from seven houses homeless and they were evacuated at Shwe Zin Aye Monastery.
