Fire breaks out in Thaton Tsp

A quarrel between a married couple led to a fire in Aung Kantha village, Thaton township, Mon state yesterday evening.

The fire occurred when a man named Aung Phyo (a) Thet Lwin set fire to his house after having a quarrel with his wife. The fire destroyed a thatch-roofed house measuring 12 ft in length and six ft in width. Fortunately, no casualty was reported in the fire. Local police station brought a criminal charge against Aung Phyo who runs away. 

Local police are trying to capture the arsonist to bring him to court.—Thet Oo (Thaton)
