An extended facility is being built in the compound of a primary school in Kotpalai Village in Kawkareik Township, Kayin State.
The new school structure will be 40 ft. in length, 30 ft. in width and 12 ft. in height and is being built with 24 million kyats funded under the Community-driven project.
Construction of school facility is part of the Community-driven project being implemented by the Department of Rural Development with the help of World Bank in cooperation with the local people.
Once completed, around 130 children from the village will be able to pursue their education in a convenient manner.
