Education family donates K 0.9 million to purchase PPE

In order to help step up Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment measures, an education family from Laymyethna township Basic Education Department provided the fundraising sub-committee with K 0.9 million at the township public hospital in the town of Laymyethna, Ayeyarwady region yesterday noon.

 

Donors from the township Basic Education Department handed over K 0.9 million to Dr. Su Su Hlaing, doctor in charge of the township and members of the fundraising committee. The money is designed to spend on 50 suits of personal protective equipment (PPE) needed in the fight against Covid-19.

 

In order to educate the general public about Covid-19 and to perform Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment works, the township level work committee and sub-committees comprising departmental personnel, local youths, members of philanthropic groups and town elders have been formed in Laymyethna township.—Shwe Moe (IPRD)
