Drugs seized in Tachilek, Monghsat Townships

A combined team from Security forces and Anti-Drug Squad raided the house of Sai Khun in Hweye Village, Tachilek Township, Shan State on 23 September and arrested Sai Khun, Li Khaw, Sai Saing Hline, Li Ya and Law Yoe along with 499800 stimulant tablets, according to information released by the Myanmar Police Force.

 

As a result of investigation, authorities raided the hut of Li Khaw located about 1700 meters west of Nakha Village in Monghsat Township, Shan State on 24 September, and confiscated 13000 stimulant tablets, caffeine weighing 170 kilos, stimulant powder weighing 0.1 kilo and related items worth K 281.5 million in the hut.

 

Action is being taken under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MPF
