Police members from Hpa-an Myoma Police Station searched a motorcycle driven by Kyaw Khine Thein near Kankyikanlay Village in Kayin State yesterday and seized 1800 stimulant tablets and a mobile phone from him, according to the information released by the Myanmar Police Force.
In a similar incident, Police members from Pyin Oo Lwin Anti-Drug Squad raided the house of Ma San San Myint in Mainglone Village in Pyin Oo Lwin Township, Mandalay Region on 4 April and seized 1000 stimulant tablets and a mobile phone in the house.
The authorities filed charges against the two under Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Law.—MPF
