With the aim of distributing drinking water in all seasons, Salin Township Department of Rural Development is undertaking digging tube wells in Thasi village, Salin Township, Minbu District, Magway Region.
Digging a tube well, construction of a water tanker capable of storing 2400 gallons of water and a water plant and fencing are undertaking with K 22.4 million allotted by the Department of Rural Development. The project was conducted by engineers from the Township Department of Rural Development starting from January. Now, it has been completed by 100 percent, according to Township Officer from the Department U Kyaw Zeya.
Upon completion, a total of 668 people from 112 households in the village will be available enough drinking water in all seasons. Officials from the District Department of Rural Development inspected the digging tube well and related works this morning.
