Developmental works are being undertaken in the town of Shanywathit, Hpa-an District, Kayin State in 2020-2021 FY and the completion of the works were inspected by officials from Hlaingbwe Township Supervisory Committee and responsible people from construction company yesterday.
In 2020-2021 FY, construction of rural road is being conducted with K 110.200 million allocated by funds of Department of Development for Border Areas and Nation Races in Shanywathit. A concrete bridge is also being built with K 152.00 million and construction of 10 box culverts is being implemented with K 46.350 million by Soe Power Naing Construction Company. The construction works are being undertaken starting from December, last year and now all the projects have been completed by 80 percent. Once completed, it will bring socioeconomic development to the local residents.
