Construction of Kyonehaw-Yama Seik Bridge in Paung Tsp. inspected

Mon State Chief Minister Dr. Aye Zan accompanied by MP U Zaw Zaw Htoo of State Hluttaw and officials made an inspection at the construction sites of Kyonehaw-Yama Seik Bridge and rural roads in Paung Township, Mon State yesterday.

First, Mon State Chief Minister and officials observed the construction of Phyuba-Thaegone rural road. Then, officials from the Kyonehaw-Yama Seik Bridge Project clarified the salient points of the construction at the briefing hall and the State Chief Minister attended the needs of the construction.

 

The bridge which is 109.8 meter in length and 7.34 meter in width is being constructed by Bridge Special Unit (14) of the Department of Bridges. The estimated amount of the bridge is about K 1422 million.

The bridge is a section of Phyuba-Kyonehaw-Thaegone-Nyaunggonegyi Htanbinchaunglay-Myalaychaung Road. The project was started on 23 March 2019 and it has been completed by 83 percent. The construction will totally be completed in April this year. Then, the officials met with local residents and responded to the demands of the local people.
