Chin State’s Teevoi Bridge 30 % completed

A rural bridge is under construction in Kyeekha Town, Chin State with the allotted fund in the fiscal year 2019-2020 and the project has been about 30 percent finished.

The bridge measuring 160 ft. long and 30 ft. wide is of a reinforced concrete facility and is being built by Bridge Construction Group-1 under the Ministry of Construction with Ks. 800 million. The structure over the Teevoi Creek between mileposts 80/1 and 80/2 on the Tiddim-Tonzang-Kyeekha Road is scheduled to be completed in September.

Once completed, the residents from nearby villages will be able to traverse the bridge in all seasons with greater ease, thereby contributing to socioeconomic development of the area.—Salai Lein Mahn (IPRD)
