An event to provide the township committee on Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment with cash assistance and health gears took place at the meeting room of general administration department in Tanai township, Kachin state yesterday evening.
At the event, U Myint Saung of Myanmar Hugong Star Co. donated K 2 million, 80 personal protective equipment glasses, five infrared thermometers to the committee while Tanai township administrator U Kyaw Lwin and wife Daw Aye Aye Than gave away five suits of personal protective equipment. Then, Senior Assistant Engineer U Sai Aung Myo Nyunt and wife Daw Thida Tun donated five suits of PPE and U Zaw Thet Tun and Daw Mya Mya Sein, five suits of PPE, U Maung Nyo, five sits of PPE, U Aung Toe and wife Daw Aye Pwint, a hand loudspeaker, Tanai township Development Affairs executive officer U Phyo Wai San and wife Daw Ei Ei Mon, 200 pieces of facial masks, Tanai township police family members, 200 pieces of facial masks, U Tin Shwe & Sons ( Home construction materials trading), K 0.2 million and 20 suits of PPE, U Aung Myint Shein (Aung Myintmo Than Co.), K 0.5 million and blankets, mosquito nets and pillows for 15 people under quarantine to the township covid-19 prevention, control and treatment committee.
A fundraising committee for Covid-19 prevention, control and treatment was formed and people who want to make donations are invited.—War War (IPRD)
