A ceremony to provide cash aids to elderly people, pregnant women and children under two-year old was held at Khaloddae village in Shan-Ywa-Thit, Hpa-an Distirct, Kayin State this morning.
First, village administrator said the cash aids are being provided to elderly people, pregnant women and children under two-year old with the aim of receiving health care services, reducing maternal mortality and ensuring adequate nutrition for children.
A total of K 3,435,000 were provided to 75 people- including pregnant women and children under two-year old at a rate of K 15,000 per person for three months and 77 elderly people at a rate of K 10,000 per person for three months.
