The closing ceremony of a basic training course on carpentry and masonry took place at the meeting hall of the General Administration Department in Minhla Township, Magway Region yesterday morning.
The training course was conducted by the Department of Rural Development under the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation with the aim of creating job opportunities for rural people. On the occasion, Regional Lawmaker U Hlaing Myint Than delivered an address and an official from the DRD explained matters relating to the course.
Afterwards, a trainee spoke words of thanks. Next, concerned officials presented awards and completion certificates to the trainees.—Nyein Thu
