62nd Graduation Ceremony of Defence Services Academy held

THE 62nd Graduation Ceremony of Defence Services Academy was held yesterday morning at the Convocation Hall of the Academy in PyinOoLwin Station.

 

Commandant of the Defence Services Academy Brig-Gen Zaw Min Latt, Rector Col Thein Lwin and members of the Dean of Faculties attended the ceremony.

 

First, the commandant rector and members of the Dean of Faculties entered the Convocation Hall and took their seats at the designated places. Then, the National Anthem was played and the graduation ceremony was opened.

 

Afterwards, the rector announced holding of the graduation ceremony and pledged to abide by the code of conduct for the graduates.

 

Then, the rector presented certificates to 60 bachelor's degrees, 20 graduates in economics, 10 graduates of commerce, 276 science graduates, 114 graduates of computer science and 108 graduates of computer technology, respectively.

 

The rector then allowed the graduates to wear uniforms corresponding to the degrees and signed the Graduation Record Book.

 

After that, the rector delivered the graduation speech and announced the end of the ceremony.

 

Then, the commandant, rector and members of the Dean of Faculties left the Convocation hall.

 

DSA has conferred basic degrees on 33,065 graduates from the first graduation ceremony up to the 62nd graduation. — MNA
