A total of 54 Myanmar citizens returned to the country from Laos through Maimao Jetty on September 24.
The returnees were welcomed by Deputy Commissioner U Myint Naing, Township Administrator U Chan Myae Saw and concerned officials. Upon their arrivals, the returnees received temperature checks, disseminated knowledge about the COVID-19 pandemic, and given facial masks, and pamphlets.
Officials issued health certificates to the returnees and sent them back to their native towns across the country.
