Local people above 45 years old in IDP camps in Rathedaung Township, Rakhine State are being vaccinated against COVID-19 at designated areas starting from October 7.
A total of 2680 local people in the camp received second dose of COVID-19 vaccines and healthcare staff shared the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Health and Sports with the local people.
The vaccination program was conducted by medical staff, members of Fire Services Department and Red Cross Association and volunteers in line with the COVID-19 instructions.
